Advocate Program
WPA Advocates are the foundation of our organization. They share our ideas, programs, opportunities and represent women poker players around the world.
Our WPA Advocates are incredibly special and important people in our organization. WPA Advocates are the “Face of the WPA” on the ground who actively work in a leadership role to promote and represent WPA and its mission in the poker world. She understands and possesses the ability to communicate WPA goals and objectives with others.
WPA Advocates all have one thing in common, their passion for poker. WPA works to unify female players and introduce new women to poker while interacting with other poker players, operators and industry businesses sharing the goals of our organization.
What is a WPA Advocate Program?
The WPA Advocate program is a marketing and support program which creates an ongoing, working relationship between the WPA leadership, its advocates, and the rest of the world. Advocates work closely on a committee within the organization, such as marketing, media, customer service, and program design. Advocates also receive training on how to share the WPA Mission when interacting as a player or a representative.
